A&M Lawn Care mows down the competition for tournament title
Jason Sanders fired up the nets with 22 points to lead A&M Lawn Care in a 71-64 win over A-Team in the tournament championship game of the 18-plus Adult Basketball League at the Destin Community Center.
Sanders hit one 3-pointer, five field goals and nine from the free-throw line to lead his team to an undefeated season.
At the half, Lawn Care was sitting on a six-point lead.
Magic Hall made one 3-pointer en route to 20 points for Lawn Care. Damen Maddox scored 12 points.
A-Team was led by Arthur Richardson with 15 points, including one 3-pointer. Kakela Peters hit for 10 points, and Jeremy Whittenburg made one 3 en route to nine points.

The first half of play was close with Lawn Care holding a two-point lead at the half.
Magic Hall worked his magic for Lawn Care with two 3s en route to 17 points. Nelson Sanders tossed in three 3s for 13 points, and Damen Maddox contributed seven points.
Esic Rhodes led Fudpucker’s with 13 points. Joe Collins hit one trey on his way to nine points, and Adrian Watson made two 3s and eight points.

A-Team was on top 28-20 at the half.
Kakela Peters led A-Team with 14 points, and Tim Brown tossed in two 3s on his way to 13 points.
Jake Armstrong was high-point player for J. Ely with three 3s and 11 points. Rob Murray scored eight points, and Brad Benton hit two 3s en route to nine points.
