Gulf Breeze Pet Fest rescheduled for Sunday

GULF BREEZE — Because of the severe weather forecast for Saturday, in the best interests of the sponsors, vendors, participants and pets: The Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce 2009 Pet Fest has been rescheduled from Saturday to Sunday. Hours are 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at Gulf Breeze Elementary School. Scheduled events and activities will remain the same as originally planned.

They include: Rovers Race/Walk will begin at 9:30 a.m., registration at 8 a.m. Entertainment throughout the day with Paw Print Art, Hallelujah Hounds, exhibitions from ENSEC and Best Paw Forward Training, demos by the Gulf Breeze Police Canine Unit, a Pet Fashion Show, pet contests, pet photographer, pet spa, pet psychic, silent auction and the Best of Show Parade for all pets at 2:45 p.m.

Area veterinarians will be on-hand providing educational information on flea control, heart worm disease, micro-chipping, exotic pets and much more. Admission is $5.
