Snowbirds flock to Seascape

SEASCAPE, FL - Once the roost for the Walton County Snowbirds, Seascape Resort has continued to increase the activities provided to area snowbirds in order to make sure the area's winter residents feel welcome and stay entertained.

Open to all area snowbirds regardless of their accommodation choices, Seascape is offering a host of free or low cost social activities. For the second year in a row, Bingo Night still brings in the biggest crowds and this year it will be hosted at the award winning, Cabana Café in Ariel Dunes I on every other Wednesday starting at 6 p.m. Bring your competitive spirit, your favorite friends and a healthy appetite. The winter specials are perfect for a chilly winter evening.

Snowbird Activity Monthly Schedule:

• Monday: Wii Bowling from 10 a.m. until close at Cabana Café
• Tuesday: Cocktail hour at Whales Tail starting at 5 .p.m
• Wednesday: every other week starting Jan. 21; Bingo at 6 p.m. at Cabana Cafe
• Thursday: 4 p.m. Banjo Rama at Cabana Café with live music and entertainment

Special Activity Dates: 

• Potluck Dinner:  6 p.m. at the Seascape Golf Shop. Bring your favorite covered dish, a few friends and prepare for a great time.
• Golf:  Early Bird Golf at Seascape or Emerald Bay Golf Course. Book a tee time two days prior to play between 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. for $40 plus tax. Call (850) 654-7888 for Seascape tee times or (850) 837-5197 for Emerald Bay tee times.
