There is such thing as a free lunch

To celebrate five years in business, Sarah K's Gourmet will offer free chicken salad sandwiches and miniature cupcakes to customers from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 10.

“It has been an amazing five years,” said Sarah K. Schreifer, the eatery's owner. “I couldn't have done it without the support of our community and I hope they will help us celebrate on Friday.”

Sarah K's Gourmet, which serves “ready to heat” gourmet take-out, is known for their world famous jumbo lump crab cakes. The restaurant-quality entrees, side dishes and desserts are prepared daily, and traditional specialties are mixed with an ever-changing array of accompaniments.

The gourmet store was awarded an impressive three-and-half out of four stars by the Northwest Daily News and has garnered four “Best of the Emerald Coast Awards” from Emerald Coast Magazine.

Schreifer has been the recipient of several awards and has been featured on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates, CNN, The Weather Channel and nationally syndicated programs, national radio and online.
