Magnolia House Opens New Store in Grand Boulevard
MIRAMAR BEACH, FL - Magnolia House, a popular upscale gift shop and home furnishing store, has relocated from Grayton Beach to Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. The popular boutique with a loyal following originally opened off of County Road 30-A 17 years ago. The new store offers more space for owner Nancy Veldman’s eclectic array of merchandise.
The new Magnolia House has many of the same characteristics that made the first store so popular. The décor is elegant and charming. Home furnishing and accents are featured throughout the store including dinnerware, serving pieces, stemware, lamps, rugs, throws, blankets and gorgeous velvet throws. Beautiful accessories are carried as well and they include note cards, jewelry, pearls and French soaps.
Magnolia House also contains a library of books of every kind from fishing and golf to novels and daily devotionals. A 7-foot black baby grand piano beautifully flanks the store and Veldman, an accomplished self-taught pianist, plays it occasionally. Her CDs are also sold in the store.
Veldman is also an accomplished watercolor artist and photographer, recently completed her first novel, “The Box of Words” which she wrote with a co-author. The book has been published by Amazon Books.
