Red, White and Baytowne

DESTIN, FL - The "Red, White and Baytowne" at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers a free weekend of 4th of July events for the whole family at The Village of Baytowne Wharf.

The celebration kicks off on July 3 at 7 p.m. with the Village's house band, Coconut Radio. Events will take place all day on July 4 starting with the roaring river water slide from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. A stilt walker will be showing off his skills while a face painter paints patriotic faces at 6 p.m. Children can participate in the kid's craft. Betsy Ross will also be making an appearance at 6 p.m. and will visit with guests for a few hours.

The Market Shops at Sandestin will have live music and children's activities on July 4 from 6-9 p.m. with a full day of shopping fun and discounts of up to 50 percent. The day concludes with an extravagant fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. American flags will be passed out all day and guests will have the opportunity to write a letter to a soldier.

The roaring river water slide will be running again July 5 from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. and Coconut Radio will entertain crowds from 6-9 p.m.
