The “Dash Around the Table” cooking expo will be held at Sandestin’s Linkside Center Exhibition Hall from 3 p.m.- 10 p.m. giving culinary enthusiasts an opportunity to please their palates.

The “Dash” expo will feature celebrity Chef Jon Ashton who will begin his food demonstration at 7 p.m. Ashton’s two- and-a-half hour interactive show will have you on the seat of your chair with his salivating dishes and fun humor. The show will feature shopping tips, simple easy to make dishes and other recipes you can enjoy making at home. He also features great shortcuts to help you get back to your busy families.

“I want to make mealtime matter. Food should be fun, and it should be something you can share with your family in the kitchen or around the table,” said Chef Ashton, while he was cooking at the Fisher House, a home for soldiers and their families while they are receiving treatment.

Experience Ashton’s charisma and charm while he demonstrates just how easy it is to make his dishes. Some of Ashton’s newest recipes include a meat lover’s pizza pasta bake.

The recipe is a meat lover’s dream with seasoned beef, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, twisty pasta and perfectly melted cheese.
Ashton is not the only one dishing out good eats. Numerous food vendors will be selling culinary favorites. Early bird tickets are on sale for $15 and $20 at the door. VIP packages are also available for purchase for $75.

Presold and door ticket purchases also include a gift bag and chance to win the grand prize raffle. VIP ticket purchasers will receive two raffle tickets, complimentary hors d’oeuvre’s and refreshments as well as the gift bags.

VIP’s will also enjoy a meet and greet with Chef Ashton and three VIP members will be picked to join him on stage for entrée tasting. VIP ticker holder’s reception will held in the Baytowne Conference center located in the Village of Baytowne Wharf from 5:30 - 6:30p.m.
