RESTAURANT REVIEW: Camille’s offers sushi, seafood, prime view

I decided to order the catch of the day, which was cobia. I’d never had cobia, and since it was in season I was excited to try it. I generally like any type of fish, and I ordered mine blackened.

My cobia came out atop basmati rice and a side of spinach sautéed in garlic and topped with a lemon butter sauce.

In all my meal was great. The cobia tasted much like grouper to me, though was texturally different, maybe a little tougher. The lemon butter sauce was perfect.

I’ve been to places that have been way too liberal with the lemon when making such a sauce. This sauce was the perfect balance of acidity and cream.

Our entrees caught the eye of diners nearby and they proceeded to order the cobia as well.

Other entrees Camille’s offers are the blackened filet mignon topped with blue cheese and fried onions, sundried tomato crusted grouper, seared jumbo scallops and Gulf shrimp and paneed chicken and pasta.

They also have an assortment of salads and pizzas.
