RESTAURANT REVIEW: Camille’s offers sushi, seafood, prime view

Camille’s also has an extensive sushi menu. You can either order it in the main dining room, or sit at the sushi bar, which is across the entrance from the main dining area.

We decided to top off our meal with the crème brulee. It wasn’t the largest serving, but did the trick. It was topped with a sweet strawberry that mixed perfectly with the rich custard.

The atmosphere
Camille’s offers relaxed fine dining. The main dining room had wood accents with an open window into the kitchen. An almost funky assortment of mirrors hangs on the walls.

The service
Our waiter, Shane, was very attentive, and I think went above and beyond with the gumbo sample. He also remained unnoticed and appeared only at crucial moments, which I think is a sign of a good waiter.

A final taste
Camille’s offers a well-rounded menu that showcases our local seafood, which can be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. Now I only need to return to try their uni nigiri.
