Ruth’s Chris Steak House of Destin’s wine list has caught the attention of Wine Spectator.
“We have been giving out these awards for over three decades, and each year we are impressed by the remarkable quality,” said Marvin R. Shanken, editor and publisher of Wine Spectator. “We applaud the willingness of the restaurants around the world to expand beyond traditional options while still paying homage to the classics.”
Ruth’s Chris Steak House, centrally located in Destin, serves some of the finest wine in the city and recently took home an Award of Excellence awarded by the magazine. The restaurant also boasts an incredible outdoor patio for dining available with an aura of New Orleans and offers an array of private event spaces, a private billiard room, complimentary valet parking, three bars including the recently opened East Bar lounge, and live entertainment five nights a week from Billboard Charting/National Recording Artist Michael J Thomas. Open daily at 5 p.m., Ruth’s Chris also offer a happy hour daily from 5-7 p.m.
Wine Spectator has honored the world’s best wine lists since 1981. This year, 2,870 restaurants earned the program’s entry-level Award of Excellence, which recognizes a wine list offering an interesting and diverse selection of 100 or more wines that are well presented and thematically match the restaurant’s cuisine in both price and style. The complete list of award winners is featured in the August 31 issue of Wine Spectator, available on newsstands July 23.
