Seagar’s Prime Steaks and Seafood at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa blended its tradition of excellence in culinary creativity and service with a sophisticated new décor, as it reopened Feb. 5.
The Destin-area’s only restaurant to be distinguished with a AAA Four Diamond Award rating, the 150-seat steakhouse recently underwent an extensive five-week renovation.
At Seagar’s entrance, a unique fire-and-water feature serves as a welcoming focal point. The interior’s color palette takes inspiration from the restaurant’s beachside location, featuring soft blues, greens, platinum and sandy hues, set in striking contrast to traditional Brazilian cherry and mahogany accents. Other new design details include a renovated lounge and a new semiprivate dining room created to showcase Seagar’s 600 label-wine list, which is consistently honored with Wine Spectator’s ‘Best of Award of Excellence’. The room’s glass walls are flanked with hundreds of highly allocated wines. The renovation transcends the aesthetic to include many details focusing on Seagar’s tradition of culinary creativity and award-winning guest service. Often recognized for serving only USDA prime beef, the restaurant also introduces its Custom Cut Program, offering guests the opportunity to order a steak to his or her exact specifics, including thickness, weight and temperature.
As well, Seagar’s offers state-of-the-art technology, tableside. iPads are available for guests who would like to explore the restaurant’s wine list, as well as discover suggested food pairings. And, as always, Seagar’s knowledgeable team members will stand ready to assist guests with personalized service.
