Exhibit by Local Artist

DESTIN, FL – An art exhibit featuring local artist, Robert Fairweather will be held at the Destin Library through Aug. 14. The display is open to the public during library hours.

Robert Fairweather is a retired United States Army aviator and Destin resident. Fairweather’s early upbringing in Shanghai, China influenced his love of oriental art. Some of his paintings are studies of works by famous artists. Others on display have been influenced by general trends in oriental art or drawn from live photographs.

Many of the paintings were completed to provide artwork in Fairweather’s home.

Four beach paintings on exhibit were sold commercially. For further information please contact the Destin Library at 850-837-8572.
