CRESTVIEW — Police are searching for a man and woman who attempted to rob a gas station this morning.

The two suspects entered into the Exxon station at 775 South Main Street around 6:10 a.m. armed with a knife, according to a press release from the Crestview Police Department.

The two left the station without any cash after the gas station employee was unable to open the cash register, the release stated.

Police described the male suspect as a white man in his 20s with short brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing a striped shirt and jeans.

The other suspect was a white female with dark hair that was either short or pulled back. She was wearing dark-colored gym shorts and white t-shirt at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information on the attempted robbery or the suspects should contact the Crestview Police Department at 682-3544.
