Fire under investigation

PARKER -- A man who was injured in a Thursday night mobile home fire faces arrest after his release from the hospital, according to Parker police.

The Police Department, with the assistance of the State Fire Marshal’s Office, is conducting an investigation into the fire, which destroyed a Pratt Avenue mobile home, police said.

During an investigation of the fire and a domestic violence incident that happened at the same time, police said they concluded that Walter Lee Bowden, 56, was responsible for both incidents.  Bowden was transported to Bay Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. He will be charged with arson and aggravated battery after his release from the hospital, police said.
