The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation in partnership with Arturo’s Studio have a holiday gift for clients, friends and family members. Salty Memories Along the Coastal Highway is a limited edition 176-page hard bound book containing historical stories of Destin and the Emerald Coast. Featured stories include such pioneer settlers as Mattie and Coleman Kelly, Captain Reddin “Salty” Brunson, Roger Clary, Ernest Shahid and Willie Mae Taylor with more than 492 vintage photographs of life in early Destin as the “luckiest fishing village.”

Books are $55 plus tax (cash and checks only) and available at Beau Esprit Custom Framing, Destin Library, Kitchenique, Duce & Company, La Donna’s Salon, La Renaissance Salon, Lovelace Interiors, Sandestin Marina, Sandcastle Designs, P S Gifts, Special Touch Gallery and Sugar Beach Interiors.
