New York Tenors
NICEVILLE – Enjoy a night of Broadway, opera and American classics with three of New York’s greatest talents — Daniel Rodriguez, Andy Cooney and Michael Amante, the New York Tenors at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at NWFSC. The New York Tenors provide an overwhelming, "can't miss" showcase of some of the world's greatest vocalists and repertoire. Tickets are $35. Cat show
OKALOOSA ISLAND – Destiny Cat Fanciers will host its seventh annual Cat Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 12 and 13 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center. Admission is $6/adults and $5/seniors, military and children 4-12. Children under 4 are admitted free. Get $1 off your admission with a large can or unopened bag of cat food.
Local rescue group Feline Friends of Destin will again attend the show and bring homeless pets for adoption. They will also collect donations and sell promotional items to support their efforts in managing feral cat populations and fostering adoptable cats and kittens. Independent film series
DESTIN – The Friends Guild of the Destin Library presents an independent and foreign film at 7 p.m. Jan. 15. The program is free and open to the public. Films are unrated and directed toward mature audiences. Seating will be limited to 60 on a first come, first served basis.

Crystal Gage
DESTIN – The Canadian Snowbirds Association will make a visit for a Snowbird Information meeting from 1-3 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Destin Community Center, 101 Stahlman Ave. Nashville recording artist Crystal Gage will perform at the free event. All are welcome.

Snowbird Movie Matinees
DESTIN –The Destin Library will host a free weekly movie matinee, “Brave,” for winter visitors at 2 p.m. Jan. 16. The film series will feature new release DVD movies hyped as this year’s Oscar contenders. Seating limited to 30 on a first‐come, first‐serve basis. For information, call 837-8572.
