Sinfonia, Sibelius and the 7th (of Beethoven): Grammy Award-nominee Caroline Goulding returns to the Sinfonia stage to perform Sibelius’ epic violin concerto at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25 at Destiny Worship Center. Mardi Gras on the Island

OKALOOSA ISLAND – The 10th Annual Mardi Gras Parade with beads, floats and music begins at 11 a.m. Jan. 19 at the west end of Santa Rosa Boulevard and continues eastward toward U.S. 98. After the parade, there'll be a Block Party at Helen Back on Amberjack Drive.

Art exhibit

NICEVILLE – Soka Gakkai International presents The Century of Women, a national traveling exhibit, in both galleries at the Mattie Kelly Fine & Performing Arts Center from Jan. 19-Feb. 1. The exhibit highlights both ordinary and prominent women from around the world who have dedicated themselves to a fair and peaceful future. Call 729-6044.
