Great Night of Methodist Singing

NICEVILLE – The Great Night of Singing Jan. 27 features a large combined choir of approximately 230 voices, smaller vocal ensembles, and orchestra on the Mainstage at Mattie Kelly Arts Center. Even the audience gets to sing. This very popular and unique event is a combined effort of nine area United Methodist Churches — Destin UMC, First UMC of Crestview, First UMC of Fort Walton Beach, Mary Esther UMC, Navarre UMC, Niceville UMC, Shalimar UMC, St. Mark UMC, and Trinity UMC. No admission charge and the public is invited.

Snowbird Movie Matinees

DESTIN –The Destin Library will host a free movie matinee, “Trouble with the Curve,” for winter visitors at 2 p.m. Jan 30. Seating limited to 30 on a first‐come, first‐serve basis. Call 837-8572.

Hair

NICEVILLE – The Tony Award winning production of HAIR, a joyous celebration of youth and a poignant journey through a tumultuous 1960’s America, begins at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 30 at Mattie Kelly Arts Center at Northwest Florida State College, Mainstage.
