Billy Bowlegs Festival
FORT WALTON BEACH- The 58th Annual Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival opens at 10 a.m. June 1. Scheduled activities are recorded music, 10 a.m. to noon; Pirate Karaoke, 12-1:30 p.m. on stage; Tom Mason and the Blue Buccaneers, 2:30-5:30 p.m. on stage; The Pirate Landing, 4-5 p.m.; and Don't Stop Believin' (Journey Tribute Band) from 7:30-9 p.m. on stage.
DESTIN - Come to HarborWalk Village at 6 p.m. June 2 to see "Pirate Pete and the Case of the Missing Fisherman," an interactive children's show that searches the area for Fisherman Fred. Be prepared to sing, dance, and be silly. You might even get picked to be part of the crew of Pirate Pete's ship.
Buccaneer Pirates meet Titans

DESTIN – Every Tuesday during the summer from 6-10 p.m. HarborWalk Village transforms into "The Big Easy" with floats, beads, the Village Brass Band, stilt walkers, jugglers and lots of excitement during the parade through the Village. The Titans Cheerleaders will be Grand Marshalls on June 4. Local cheerleaders are wanted to show spirit on a float. Prizes awarded for more spirited cheer squad. Call 687-0985.

Red, White and Blue Celebration
DESTIN – The Red, White, and Blue Celebration, honoring a local hero who goes above and beyond to better their community, will be held from 6-8 p.m. every Thursday at HarborWalk Village. World Oceans Day
DESTIN - Henderson Beach State Park will celebrate World Oceans Day with family-centered activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 8. An informative sea turtle program will be presented by park rangers. The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge staff will bring their animal ambassadors to share their rescue stories. Children’s ocean-themed art activities will also be included.
