The First Arts Concert Series final concert of the season and the farewell concert of the series features the Louisiana Repertory Jazz Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. March 8 in the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church, 103 First Street in Fort Walton Beach. After the concert, celebrate the 24 years of the Concert Series at Afterglow at Magnolia Grill. Tickets are $15/adults in advance and $8/students. At the door they are $20 and $10. Comedy show

DESTIN – Enjoy a good laugh as McGuire's Irish Pub presents a comedy show at 9 p.m. the first Monday of every month. Comedians Ed Joseph and David Abbott will perform March 4 in the grand hall. $2 margaritas on the rocks.
