The Holiday Inn Resort in Fort Walton Beach is undergoing a conversion.

“We are excited to be joining the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts family and are looking forward to providing our guests with the high-quality accommodations that the chain is known for”, said Wesner St. Vil, the hotel’s general manager.

The 195-room hotel will feature a number of notable renovations including a modernized lobby and restaurant, expanded seating areas at the poolside tiki-bar, and refreshed guest rooms to meet the needs of today’s Emerald Coast visitors. In addition, new technological upgrades will streamline the check-in process to enhance the overall guest experience.

Guests may choose from many room types, including a breathtaking beachfront honeymoon suite and elegant two-bedroom penthouse suites. Families will enjoy kid-oriented rooms with bunk beds and one-bedroom suites with full kitchens.

The hotel features two pools, a rock slide, hot-tub, and a variety of pool activities. During the summer months, kids activities ramp-up to include poolside family movies, karaoke nights, arts and crafts, scavenger hunting, and their very own Johnny Jaws.
